Card Trick

Two magicians have a new trick. They choose (arbitrarily) a volunteer from the audience. WLOG, the first magician's name is Alice, the second is Bob, and the audience member is Chris.

Chris randomly selects five cards from a deck of 52-cards (standard). Chris is a very good friend of yours and you are sure he is not with Alice and Bob on the scheme. Alice then looks at the five cards, selects one of them, and then spreads the four left ones on the table, face up. At this point, Bob reveals the identity of the fifth card held by Alice.

Assume that no information can be gained by putting the cards in a certain angle, horizontally, vertically, or anything like that. Think of it like this, Alice only transmits "Kh-As-2d-Qh", where every card has a standard notation.

Can you tell how Alice and Bob did this trick?
